Gus has been shedding recently so I thought today was a good time to take baths.
Ferrets should only have bi-yearly baths because baths are counter-productive and will strip their oils and make them stink more. Most ferrants bathe their ferrets around fall and spring for coat change time.
Some ferrets hate baths and will scratch the heck out of you so I try to do it quick which means no pictures.
Tilly was pretty calm so you get some pictures of her.
To make it less traumatizing, have no running water. Fill the tub with about an inch of warm water and have a cup to rinse them off.
( I had to run the water because my tub stopper is broken.)
